In terms of tropic electro (tropolectro, if you will), few people actually do it better than Isaac Tichauer. "Doing What I Got" is a prime example. Isaac Tichauer is a master of interpolating vocals (in this case, vocals from "Sitting On Top of the World") in a genre that often shuns vocals altogether or buries them under the tropics. The track is a perfect soundtrack for the blurred, shot through with bright colors end of June days that lead us into the 4th. Of all the statements, perhaps the last one is the most tantalizing: "Isaac has prepared a massive debut which we will debut this July".
