The incomparable
Four Tet pitches us his latest, "128 Harps". The track, like the best of
Four Tet's work, is near impossible to categorize. It begins with a swelling bass effect that would rival the tops in electro/house. It then evolves into an almost Far East swell of, well, harps. Then, an inspired, almost b-boy vocal manipulation of 'yep yep yep yep yep yep' invades. "128 Harps" is many things, including this: thoroughly enjoyable throughout.
