'Techno Trap' is what Brodinski's furious remix of Detroit rapper Danny Brown's "Die Like A Rockstar". Danny Brown is far from a trap rapper, but when you consider the theme of "Die Like A Rockstar", it makes sense. The song is all about similarities to famous people trapped to drugs, and their rapid downfalls. Brodinski, of course, brings the techno part. Danny Brown's elastic voice, the voice with the the panic and of a man with cardiomyopathy jumping on a trampoline-is preserved and set over a beat far more fast paced than the original. Perhaps the coolest part is the subtle ambulance effects laced throughout the track, as if it is only a matter of time before it catches up to the beat (and, by effect, Brown). Gesundheit.
