Levantine remixes a 90’s classic in ‘Sweet Harmony’(by The Beloved). This Nu-Disco twists the seduction of the original into a more innocent version. Most tellingly, Levantine takes the ethereal vocals put into the chorus of the original and weaves them into the verses(and take these backing vocals out of the chorus). It is a worthy translation. The Beloved may sing in English, but they truly sing in The Beloved. Levantine, in this skillful sampling, performs in Levantine.
